Q. What differentiates ProgForce from its competitors?

    At Progforce, not only do we take care of your staffing needs, but we also facilitate the completion of your company's tasks on a daily basis. Q. Are there any legal issues associated with using offshore programmers?

    It is definitely legal to use offshore workforce. However, while generally various tax rules apply with regards to employment of local employees by an international company, you do not need to worry about those laws. Since ProgForce is an international company with a branch in Russia, you will pay us per employee on a pre-defined basis (e.g. monthly or bi-weekly) and we will deliver the payment to our employees and deal with the local taxes and money transfers.

Q. Who are the offshore programmers and where are they located?

    We select top programmers from the pool of talented candidates in Novocherkassk, mainly graduates of top universities in the region with excellent academic credentials and relevant work experience. We screen, interview and test every applicant before presenting their candidacy to our clients. The programmers work from our site in Russia, Western-style offices with pleasant and work-conducive atmosphere and an on-site supervisor.

Q. What are the advantages of using offshore programmers (and particularly ProgForce)?

    One of the main advantages of using offshore programmers is the reduction of the overhead operating costs. You save on office space, computer and other employee-associated costs. Second, you receive a high-quality and dedicated task force at much lower rates than what you would pay local programmers of that caliber. Third, since we select the best programmers for you and take all the risks associated with hiring and training new employees, you may concentrate on the project itself and thus the product’s time-to-market is significantly reduced. Finally, we supervise and consult our programmers on-site for any arising issue thus ensuring successful completion of your project on time.

Q. In which time zone is the offshore office in and how will I communicat with the offshore programmers?

    Novocherkassk is located in the South-Western part of Russia and in the same time zone with Moscow (EST+8 and GMT/UTC+3). This means the offshore office is only one hour ahead of the Israeli clients. As for the U.S. clients, the offshore office is eight hours ahead of the East Coast and 11 hours ahead of the West Coast.

    You may communicate with the programmers directly through email, tele- or videoconferencing during the hours convenient for both sides. You may request a programmer to work at non-standard shifts (i.e. evening or night shifts) or communicate with you during specific hours as a part of a pre-defined contract.

Q. How to submit a project request and get a price quote?

    Please fill out a form at the Contact Us page and we will get back to you with a price quote. We will evaluate your project’s needs and give you a competitive rate, but most importantly, highly-qualified employees well-suited for the type of work you require.

Q. Must I first make a list of complete specifications?

Q. Will I be provided with a schedule and time estimate?

    Yes, we will devise a complete work plan after consulting with our programmers on-site.

Q. What if I am not satisfied with what I get?

    At ProgForce, ensuring high quality of our work force and client satisfaction is our top priority. Since we take all the risks of hiring and training the employees, should there be an issue with a specific programmer, we will hire a different employee that better fits your needs and will absorb all the associated costs. We will ensure that your project does not suffer from a replacement by employing additional task-force if needed to speed up your project at no extra cost.

Q. How can I control and monitor project development progress?

    You may communicate directly with the programmers assigned to you or with the supervisor on site via email, tele- or videoconferencing at any time. If necessary, you can meet with the programmers or have them join your team of programmers at your site for a limited period. Our on-site manager will provide you will regular status reports and updates.

Q. How can I protect my Intellectual Property?

    We will sign a contract with you that all IP developed by our programmers as long as they are employed for the needs of the relevant software development will remain in your possession after it is developed.

Q. What is the minimum project period for employing offshore task force?

    Because we want to establish a true relationship and a reliable connection between our clients and the programmers on-site, our offshore business model allows for hiring full-time or part-time employees only on a long-term contact (a minimum of one year). You may outsource a variety of programming tasks to our Russian office throughout the duration of the contract and enjoy all the benefits of the offshore task-force.
